MALTISWEET® is available in both liquid and crystalline forms and effectively reduces the need for high-intensity sweeteners. It is a 1:1 replacement for sucrose and corn syrups and offers superior bulking capabilities and optimal sweetness and stability. It offers viscosity more like sucrose, immediate flavor release, and brilliant color for candies due to its exceptional clarity.
HYSTAR® polyglycitols and maltitol syrups are combinations of maltitol, sorbitol and high-molecular-weight polymers, primarily used in sugar-free hard candies and caramels. We also offer polyglycitols for use in personal care and pet care products.
STABILITE® polyglycitols are combinations of maltitol, sorbitol and high-molecular-weight polymers. The syrups are primarily used in sugar-free hard candies and caramels, while the powders are often found in spray-dried form and utilized in applications including baked goods, coatings, hard candies and chewing gum. We also offer polyglycitols for use in personal care and pet care products.
Sorbitol has tremendous humectancy for longer shelf life. SORBOGEM® Crystalline Sorbitol is widely used in food and confectionery applications, functioning as a cryoprotectant, crystallization inhibitor, freeze point depressant, and plasticizer.
SORBO® Sorbitol Solutions are clear, syrupy liquids most often used as bulking agents, sweeteners and humectants in a wide range of applications. SORBO® Sorbitol Solutions are approximately 60% as sweet as sucrose, and often used in combination with high-intensity sweeteners to create an alternative to sucrose. We offer several sorbitol solutions with varying functional characteristics to meet your specific formulation needs.
Used primarily in confectionery applications, powdered Mannitol provides stability and protection to finished products. Its cooling effect and sweetness make it an ideal low-calorie alternative to sucrose. And its slow absorption reduces rises in blood sugar.
ERYSTA® Crystalline Erythritol is a new addition to our polyol portfolio. The white, crystalline, odorless powder is approximately 70% as sweet as sucrose with a clean, sweet taste similar to sucrose. At 0.2 calories per gram, erythritol has approximately 7 to 13% the calories of other polyols and 5% the calories of sucrose. Erythritol is also considered a natural, sugar-free sweetener, which is important to select food and beverage manufacturers.
