Crude Corn Oil

The oil either extracted or expelled from corn.

Refined Corn Oil

Corn oil which has been refined, bleached, winterized, and deodorized to remove impurities.

Acid Oil

The oil from acidifying raw soapstock.

Middlings

The interface material between acid oil and water produced during the acidulation process.

Corn Wax Oil

Material steamed from the filter after winterizing and filtering corn oil.

Deodorizer Distillate

Condensed volatiles removed from the oil during deodorization.
