Natural Polymers are used in the natural form to provide a distinct velvety feel that is soft and smooth to the touch. They are oil and water absorbent and can reduce shine and moisture.
Hydrolyzed Natural Polymers are ingredients produced by enzyme conversion of vegetable polymers. These ingredients are excellent for use as a humectant and in moisturizing applications because they hold water to the skin, keeping in moisture.
Modified Natural Polymers are vegetable polymers that have undergone modification, either enzymatic, physical or chemical, to achieve specific characteristics. Modification can enhance texture, conditioning effects or emulsifying properties.
Actives* are innovative ingredients that impart cosmetics and personal care products with special properties such as anti-aging, hydration, anti-wrinkle and skin whitening.
Polyols are used in a variety of personal care applications to enhance body, conditioning, gloss and texture in products such as shampoos, lotions and hair gels. Caramel Colors are used to add a reddish, golden brown color to products.
Fibers are the fibrous materials obtained from the hull of cereal kernels and other vegetables that can be used as a mild exfoliating material for skin.
